    Cook fish fillets, pork chops, vegetables and even soft cheese on our cedar planks to infuse the food with a lightly smoky flavor while keeping it moist. The technique originated with Native Americans, who roasted fresh-caught salmon on cedar logs over burning coals. Sold in a set of four, our reusable wooden slabs help you create delicious meals on the grill or in the oven.

    • Made of natural, untreated western red cedar.
    • Imparts pleasantly smoky flavor to food.
    • Especially complements salmon, but also ideal for other types of fish, shellfish and meat.
    • Use for both cooking and serving.
    • Can be reused 2–3 times if thoroughly brushed clean with water after each use.
    • 11"x 5"x 1/3"high.
    • 3.5 oz. each (14 oz. total).

    Use

    • Prior to use, soak plank in hot water for 15 minutes.
    • Cover entire plank with food.
    • Add to preheated grill or oven.
    • Keep grill or oven closed.
    • Cook food until done.
    • Do not leave unattended.
    • For best results, cook food slowly over low, indirect heat.
    • If edges of plank catch fire, spray with water.
    • Plank can be reused 2–3 times if thoroughly cleaned.
    • After last use, add plank to grill fire to add smoky flavor to other food.

    Care

    • Thoroughly brush clean with water.
