Use
- Ideal for gas and electric cooktops (not induction-compatible).
- Use medium heat on cooktop due to efficient heat conductivity of copper.
- Oven safe to 480°F.
- Do not use in microwave or freezer.
Care
- Allow cookware to cool before cleaning.
- Hand-wash.
- Dry immediately with soft cloth.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads and harsh detergents on copper.
- Scrub cast-iron handles with light-gauge steel wool. Oil lightly.
- Avoid using cleaners containing bleach, which is corrosive and may cause cookware to pit.
- Copper will develop a rich patina over time. This is normal and will not affect cooking performance.
- To keep exterior looking new, use copper polish or combination of lemon and salt.
